The Milwaukee Admirals have signed Trevor Mingoia to a one-year AHL contract for the 2017-18 season. The 25-year old right winger played the best part of last season with the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL and, similar to recent Admirals signingAngelo Miceli, was part of a trade that put him into the clutches of the Norfolk Admirals. While both are under contract to Milwaukee it is likely both start next season in Norfolk.
And then there were four! The Milwaukee Admirals have announced this afternoon that they have signed goaltender Jake Paterson to a one-year, AHL contract for the 2017-18 season. Paterson joins a goaltending depth group that now features Marek Mazanec, Anders Lindbäck, and Matt O’Connor. Paterson spent all of last season in the ECHL with the Toledo Walleye where he was the league leader with 34 wins.
The Milwaukee Admirals have signed Angelo Miceli to a one-year AHL contract for the 2017-18 season. Miceli spent last season primarily in the ECHL as a member of the Greenville Swamp Rabbits and is a likely candidate to report to the Norfolk Admirals when this coming campaign starts.

The deal is worth $650,000 in the NHL and $100,000 in the AHL. Mazanec should be expected to be the first choice goaltender for the Milwaukee Admirals for the coming season in what will be his fifth season with the organization.

The Nashville Predators have officially signed Pontus Åberg to a new two-year contract that will keep the Swede through to 2019. The terms of the deal will have him earning $650,000 per season in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons and is a one-way NHL contract.
