The Nashville Predators have officially terminated their ECHL affiliation agreement with the Norfolk Admirals. This news comes on the back of a few roster moves that were head scratchers. The Milwaukee Admirals are about to embark on quite the lengthy spell on the road. They will play nine of their next eleven games away from the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. Ahead of the Milwaukee Admirals road trip to Cleveland they have made a roster move. Joonas Lyytinen has been reassigned to the Norfolk Admirals (ECHL). At this moment it is likely that the Finnish defenseman will only be down for the duration of the road trip. That would mean Lyytinen logging up to three games as Norfolk work a three-in-three on home ice starting Thursday night.

They finally open up the Norfolk Scope this weekend, Friday and Saturday, with home games against the South Carolina Stingrays. To prep for that I thought it would be fun to take a look into the start for a lot of names that started out in Milwaukee’s Training Camp, are playing in Norfolk now, and the two defensemen that are teetering between the AHL and ECHL at the moment.
