The Milwaukee Admirals were in action for practice this morning. The team is set for two-games at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena this weekend. It starts tomorrow night against the Texas Stars and ends with the Grand Rapids Griffins on Saturday. The Admirals are continuing to battle for their playoff lives but time, and the Rockford IceHogs, are starting to run away from them.

These were today’s line combinations. It was quite positive seeing Fred Allard back in the swing of things. That said, there’s still no positive update on the injury front regarding Justin Kirkland, Joonas Lyytinen, or Trevor Mingoia. All remain sidelined with different injuries and will likely be unavailable this weekend.
Following practice I had the chance to catch up with Nashville Predators Director of Player Development Scott Nichol to hear his thoughts on the Milwaukee Admirals season, the ups-and-downs it has had, and even Eeli Tolvanen officially joining the Nashville mix today. I then spoke with Jack Dougherty, Tyler Moy, and Yakov Trenin. Here were some of the chatter rinkside today.
