Adam Pardy has officially signed with Frölunda HC of the Swedish Hockey League. Pardy had been a free agent for the start of the 2017-18 season until finally securing this deal. He played with the Milwaukee Admirals and Nashville Predators last season.

The 33-year old defenseman Pardy signed this deal with Frölunda HC with just 18 games remaining in their 2017-18 regular season schedule. The team is currently sitting in third place on the league table so the likelihood of a playoff run is pretty good.

Pardy was acquired early last season in an AHL trade between the Milwaukee Admirals and Springfield Falcons. This then was bumped up into an NHL contract with the Nashville Predators. He played 31 games with the Admirals in the 2016-17 season and produced 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists). He also suited up for 4 games with the Predators in the NHL. This move overseas will be the first in the Newfoundlander’s career after playing 597 professional games in North America in the NHL, AHL, and ECHL.
