Hat-tip to MiB for pointing me to this…
Want a feel good story to get the taste of Tuesday night’s game out of your mouth? Check out this great article by Jim Diamond, about Chris Mueller’s debut.
Chris’ line: With Nick Spaling and Wade Belak. Later on with Smithson and Ward. Zero shots, -1 defensively, 1-1 on faceoffs, 1 hit. 3:17 of ice time. More than Belak’s 1:54, but next lowest was Spaling’s 11:17.

Unfortunately, Chris has not yet practiced with the Preds so his ice time was bound to be limited tonight. Looked good on a few occasions and out of sorts in others. A good debut overall. If he stays, he’ll get a couple practices with the team and is bound to earn more ice.
I thought he looked pretty good, didn’t seem out of place. Nice story though. Very classy of the Preds orginization to fly his framily in to see him play. I hope he gets a chance to stay there for a couple more games.
great to see a player who works hard get his due
might be short the preds claimed marek svatos from the khl
Probably depends on when Legwand comes back or they have to keep playing Belak for his 2 minutes. Hoping he gets to stay there for the Wild game on Friday.
